| For
many of us the reality of becoming a Christian is a lot easier
than living
up to being one! It's 6.45am, your alarm rings and if you're on
top of life you
say, “Good morning...Lord!”. If you're still tired and feel a little
grouchy it's more likely to be, ''Good Lord…it's morning!” Life for
many today is tough and seems like it’s getting harder! The pressures of
work, family, and a progressively anti-Christian culture seem to sap our physical
and spiritual energy.
The idea of retreating from the harshness of life sounds a much easier option than impacting our nation. And yet at this year’s festival we will be learning in practical ways from inspirational, down to earth teaching how God in all his love wants to impact us, so that we can impact that part of (..OUR..) community in which He has placed us! Gorsley is a beautiful place nestling on the borders of the Wye Valley where people of all ages can experience God's love either for the first time, or be submerged afresh into that love. |
